Unit 2 Vocabulary

Vocabulary

Dull: not sharp.
Hilarious: extremly funny.

Hang: to fasten a thing to so that it is supported only from above or near his own top.
Mow: to cut down (grass) with a machine.
Burst: to break or fly appart suddently.

Fishmonger: a dealer in fish.

Plot: the main story of a piece of writing.
Setting: the point or position of something.

Drain: to empty by drawing off liquid.
Cabinet: a piece of furniture with shelves for holding or displaying items.
Furniture: movable articles.
Hangers: a shoulder-shaped frame with a hook at the top for draping and hanging clothes.

Ireland.

- Ireland it´s divided into two different parts: Northen Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
- There is over 6.4 million people living there.
- Some famous singers and writers were born in Ireland.
- The capital of the republic of Ireland is Dubin.
- The flag its divided into three different colours, white, orange and green.
- The capital of Northen Ireland is Belfast.
- Due to the temperature climate, it has a lot of country side.
- There´s an statue od Molly Mallone in Dublin.

I have choose a story called The Frog Prince. It talks about the story of an ugly frog and a beautiful princess who losses her loved golden ball.
